SMOD:REDUX 8 and ADDON PACK 1 released



Onemanshow has updated SMOD Redux to version 8 and released an Addon pack for his mod. I will include his change log for Version 8 at the bottom. The first addon pck looks like it will add 4 new weapons, 3 maps, and 3 playermodels to Redux 8.

SMOD2 VERSION 3 RELEASED!

As was promised, the SMOD author has released version 3 of smod2 on Valve's OrangeBox engine. This update is promised to return many of the missing features from smod40. I'm not quite sure what is in it yet, but here is a rough translation of the_authors post on the Japanese forums.

What did you want for Christmas? the_author popped on the official forums to let us know that an update for smod2 will be out before the end of the year.

Not a stretch to make that as before,
the poor appearance (the state is not implementing some features), and
I think many will be released.

Hopefully many features from smod40 will be returning?? Feel free to speculate.
